Camp: New Delhi

Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada. All Glories to Guru Maharaja.

I would like to send you some pictures taken on Lord Nityananda's appearance day in Sri Vrindavana Dhama. I must appologize for this delay, as for the past few days I was extremely busy and couldn't manage to write this report.

On February 24th, early in the morning Guru Maharaj has departed for
Vrindavan. This was the day when historical one-month long Ratha-yatra from Kurukshetra to Vrindavan came to it's final destination. This Ratha-yatra has covered the distance of approximately 360 kilometers, walking through villages and cities distributing Lord Jagannatha's merciful smile to everyone who saw Him.

Last night Lord Jagannatha's cart arrived at Chatikara, a place 6kms away from Vrindavan. And today it has started out at around 11:00am. 24th of February was a hot and sunny day, and although it wasn't that long, 6kms seemed a very long distance. The procession started at 11:00am, and many devotees from Vrindavan community came to take up the last chance to participate in this wonderful festival. After about 4 hours of journey the Rath has reached Sri Sri Krishna Balarama mandir. After putting Lord Jagannath, Srimati Subhadra and Lord Balarama on small alter situated on the ground floor of Prabhupada's museum, opp. to Srila Prabhupada's samadhi-mandir, there was an extatic kirtan which lasted for an hour. All the devotees seemed exhausted, but the mood was cheerful, happy and spiritually energized. Afterall, Jagannath is the Lord of the Universe, and His smile brings joy to all living beings.

February 25th. Lord Nityananda's appearance day.

In the morning Guru Maharaj gave Srimad Bhagavatam-class, and then went for abhisheka of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai Deities, which started at 10:00am. There was an extatic kirtan by Aindra Prabhu during abhisheka, and the atmosphere was very pleasing to the heart. After abhisheka, devotees had a wonderful darshan of Their Lordships, and then enjoyed Krishna-prasadam at 2pm at Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir's courtyard.

Attached are the pictures of abhisheka during Lord Nityananda's appearance day. In a few days I will send you the pictures of historical
Kurukshetra-Vrindavan Ratha-yatra during the last day of procession.

I hope this meets you well.

Your servant,
Sri Balaram das

P.s. Right now Guru Maharaj is in Mayapur, and he is planning to stay there untill Gaura-Purnima. He said he will be participating in Navadvipa-mandala Parikrama, and will give Caitanya Caritamrita seminar (Instructions of Lord Caitanya to Rupa and Sanatana Goswami) for the Russian devotees.
